Coaches
A coach who is a good sport believes and teaches that athletic competition is an ethical pursuit, one that builds character and shapes lifetime attitudes. Coaches should be devoted to helping athletes develop a positive self-image and encourage teamwork. They should also promote respect for the rules, umpires, and opposing teams. Discouraging all types if inappropriate behavior, while prohibiting taunting and other forms of intimidation.
