2008 Season and History
The 2008 season marked one of the most successful years in team history. The team won the Southeastern Division Championship before falling to Kiski Valley in the District 31 Finals. The team then advanced to the Region Final Four before bowing to State College on their home field 14-13, to finish the season with a 26-10 record.
The playoff berth was the team's 17th consecutive. They have won their Division 7 of the last 10 seasons. The Regional appearance was Latrobe's ninth, which ties them for second in Westmoreland County, trailing only Murrysville by one. The teams seventeen Region victories place them third all time in Westmoreland County. The Region 7 Tournament began in 1974.
The 2009 season stands to another promising season, that with hard work and dedication, the team should continue to push towards the playoffs.
