Greater Latrobe Community Chorus
Our Story
Through a Rural Arts Alliance grant, the Greater Latrobe Community Chorus (GLCC) was formed in 2004, as part of the city's sesquicentennial celebration.
After this initial performance, the members decided not to disband, but actually to continue singing as a community service. This has included providing entertainment at nursing facilities, church festivals, Latrobe Country Club, GLSHS's Creativity Center, organizational meetings, and civic functions.
GLCC meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Christ United Church of Christ in Latrobe and performs 2 - 3 times each month. The only prerequisite for membership is an enjoyment of music and a desire to share this with others.
